William F. Brown Memorial Library

The William F. Brown Memorial Library is dedicated to the memory of
William F. Brown, 1905-1990:

Editor of the American Field magazine, Author, Scholar, Journalist, Reporter, Member of the Field Trial Hall of Fame and a Co-Founder of
The Bird Dog Foundation, Inc.

The library offers information about breeding, training and sporting dog competitions. There are rare vintage books on the history of sporting dog competitions. Together with the continued donation of books, research materials and current periodicals, the library is an excellent resource for research and  for relaxation.

The Children's Corner and the Wildlife Heritage Center enhance their appreciation for the beauty of our natural world. It allows a hands on experience in the Taxidermy room, and provides a place to read about the challenges and disciplines required to train a good sporting dog.

Please call to reserve a day for you school or club. 731-764-2058

Recent Library Artifact Donation

Mr. Paul McNeal of Cullman, Alabama recently donated a
bound volume containing the entire year of 1890 American Field magazines.
They were donated in honor of his father, Colonel Thomas H. McNeal, USAF (pictured)
This is a welcome addition.
